— Blues win season opener
SLO Blues baseball take 3-0 victory over Santa Maria Packers in the season opener May 25th at Sinsheimer Park. Bakersfield’s Cole Tucker walked away with his first win pitching 5 innings and striking out 7. Brooks Lee and Justin Lutes went two for four adding to the Blue’s seven hits. Catcher Ryan McCarty went two for three at the plate and added two runs to our scoreboard. Blues take on the Packers Saturday for St. Patty’s May in the second game of the four game series.
