Sinsheimer Stadium
900 Southwood Dr. San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
Sinsheimer Stadium is located in Sinsheimer Park on Southwood Drive in San Luis Obispo. It is currently home to multiple community user groups year round. Within the park itself there are multiple barbecue areas, a disc golf course, horseshoe pits, pedestrian trails, a playground, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a softball field, batting cages, and Sinsheimer Stadium. The stadium was built in 1968 by volunteers from the Daytime Lions Club, Kiwanis Club, American Legion, Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union, Junior Matrons, and Monday Club all under the direction of Dr. Carl Dubuy. Mayor Clell Whelchel was even seen working on the dug outs.
