Community Outreach Programs

The San Luis Obispo Blues are proud to be more than just a baseball team — we’re a part of the Central Coast community. Through partnerships, youth programs, and special game-day opportunities, we work to connect with fans of all ages while supporting local organizations, schools, and families. Check out the many ways we engage with our community:

Charity Partners

Help support the Blues while promoting your organization and rewarding your staff, volunteers, members, or donors by being our guests at a game!

Includes:

  • One hundred (100) general admission tickets to a mutually agreed upon Blues home game

  • Organizational recognition over the public address system during the game

  • Opportunity to host a table presence and distribute promotional items at a mutually agreed upon location

Must be recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to be eligible.

Education Partners

Celebrate your school community and reward students, staff, and volunteers by joining the Blues at a home game!

Includes:

  • One (1) coupon per student and staff member for FREE family entry to a mutually agreed upon Blues home game (immediate family only)

  • Organizational recognition over the public address system during the game

Blues Buddies

Bring your youth baseball or softball team out to experience a game day like the pros!

Includes:

  • Opportunity to meet the Blues players and take the field for the National Anthem

  • Free admission for all team members and two (2) coaches

  • Organizational recognition over the public address system during the game

Bat Boy/Bat Girl

Join the team in the dugout and experience the game up close while assisting players, coaches, and umpires.

Includes:

  • Opportunity to sit in the Blues dugout for an entire game, gathering bats, replacing balls, and helping with assigned duties

  • Chance to take the field with the team for the National Anthem

  • Recognition over the public address system during the game

Must be at least 10 years old to participate.

National Anthem

Keep the tradition alive by performing the National Anthem before a Blues home game.

Includes:

  • Opportunity to perform the National Anthem in front of a live audience

  • Complimentary admission for yourself and two (2) adults
